I would register my discontent with the new format, except I can’t even find a place to do so. Even the search function doesn’t allow me to find a place to say “Don’t like the new front page.” Pundit roundups don’t appear anywhere on the front page, that I can find. Fourteen years since I joined, place is becoming more commercial, more captured by the “Democratic” establishment and commercial advertising. Doubt I will be spending much time here anymore.
Welp, guess I struck a nerve amongst us curmudgeonly types! Things change, and we either adapt or don’t. I note that Kos has himself stepped into the conversation at a couple of different points below, if you’re interested in his position feel free to take a look. I agree with many of the comments that the site feels more commercial, and I don’t like all the ads, but I’m too cheap to pay for an ad-free subscription, so I have to eat the responsibility on that. Time will tell how much I use the site in the future, as it will for all of us. I have spent a lot of time here over the years, and appreciate all of the entertainment and information that I’ve consumed here through the years, so it would be ungracious of me not to acknowledge that and thank Kos and the community for all the time and effort put into this place over the years, so THANK YOU ALL!
